Any gotchas in BE9 to BE12 upgrade?

Firstly, you cannot upgrade  directly from v9.x to v12.x  see http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/289451.htm

Also, be sure that you have v12 serials for any options that you are licensed for with v9

Other than that, the upgrade to v10 or v11 and then to v12.x should be no problem
