B2B files is wrong size

Hi

I have created a new B2D folder and used the default 4 GB maximum size for backup-to-disk files.
Now, after a couple of days running I see all media have 4 TB Total Capacity and if I check the actually B2D files
everyone is bigger then 4 GB:

B2D000408.bkf        626,3 GB
B2D000413.bkf        309,2 GB
B2D000406.bkf        304,3 GB
B2D000407.bkf        299,7 GB
B2D000414.bkf        290,5 GB
B2D000409.bkf        208,0 GB
B2D000412.bkf        130,5 GB
B2D000411.bkf          98,7 GB
B2D000410.bkf          11,3 GB

Is this a known bug and how can I reduce all this files to max 4GB ?

I tested created a new b2d folder and that have the correct size.

Hi First of all it would be best to upgrade to BE2010 r3 which is the final build for BE2010 and has got all recent updates and is more stable than other build of BE2010 BE 2010 R3 Installer - http://trialware.norton.com/files/fc/Backup_Exec_2010_13.0.5204_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual_DVD.iso (Same can be used for SBS) Same licesnes would be used by BE2010R3 and once upgraded please ensure you run live update to install sp2 and all updates and then upgrade your remote agent on remote servers too. Thanks

Are your jobs specifying append?  They should not.  You should always specify ovewrite for your B2D jobs because there is no advantage to appending to disk media.

After you have changed the max size, the size of the .bkf files will not change until they are next overwritten.  Once they are overwritten, they will obey the new limit.
