BACKUP EXEC 2012 DOESN´T START ANYMORE

We have (had) BE2012 running on WIN 2008 R2 on Vmware which was working and then sudenly stoped and the service doesn´t come up anymore.

 

Services that are down and don´t come up

 

Backup Exec Server

Backup Exec Agent Browser

Backup Exec Job Engine

Backup Exec Management Service

 

Windows logs error IDs 258, 1026, 1000, 7031

 

Nothing was changed on Win 2008 and BE2012 to justify the crash. Can´t find any solution on net or forum.

1) Try performing a repair install of Backup Exec.

                                      OR

2) Stop the SQL server BKUPEXEC service and take a backup of the DATA folder (located in the 

installation directory of Backup Exec). Open BEutility and reload the database from backup.

What the description of errors generated in the Event viewer when the service could not start??

It´s not seens related to SQL SQL is up and running. Service beserver.exe don´t even come up.

Thanks, it works, but a single job stuck from a non relevant machine crash down the hole backup server seems to be a major issue.
