Our organization had at least 10 servers, with no past history of VSS writer issues, fail due to writers crashing since upgrading to 2014. Anyone else having similar issues?
BE support is of course useless and just tells you to contact microsoft, since it's their writers they're crashing.

Are your servers in a HA Cluster? If so its not just a problem with Backup Exec, it is also a problem with veeam. There is a way to fix it by extending some time setting.
Try restarting the file server and switching the selections to backup the subfolder on the drive directly rather than doing the network share.
Can you let us know if this works? Thanks.
