BAckup Job failing with V-79-57344-65245 Error accessing the object list

Hi all,

I will appreciate your help since not an expert with Backup Exec.

Backup Exec 2010 R3 v13 Rev 5204 fully updated

Backups were working fine and suddenly started to fail with:

Final error: 0x000fedd A failure occurred when trying to access the object list

Backup - System?State

V-79-57344-65245 - A failure occurred accessing the object list

Exceptions:

Backup - System?State

The item System?State\System Files\System Files in use - skipped

Troubleshooting steps:

As per what I've found online I have restarted BE services, make sure there's enough space on HDD (92GB) and also I enable logging in BE remote agent.

Did you turn on AOF in your job?  If not, turn on AOF.

Turn off your anti-virus during the time of the backup.

This seems to be a specific problem with this

program files (x86)\kaseya\pcgr9908646926167327\..\knetcollector\kaseya.collector.exe

Typically we see error messages like that when unix style / characters are used in the  paths to service exe files in the registry information. Unfortunately because the logging appears to have truncated the full path, I cannot tell of this is the case for your error. If it is caused by the / charcater then the fix is to locate the invalid registry entries (usually linked with the registry of the service that uses the same exe) and change it to a \

Of course it could just be that the .EXE file in question no longer exists on the system, although I think the error codes are different for that problem

I'm trying to turn Verify off to see if completes this time.

I fixed the registry entries for kaseya.agent and I'm running the backup job as I'm writing this. I'll let you know in 4 hours.

The backups ran successfully either with verifying or not.
