BE 12.5 IDR DC not the only DC

Hard drive failure, replaced, and performed an IDR of the server.  I have not connected the server back into the network yet.  It is a DC, but not the only DC, so I just need an non-authoritative restore for this DC.  Does the IDR automatically restore the whole system state?  Do I have to restart the server in DSRM and do an additional restore of the system state? There seems to be no documentation on what IDR restores for a DC.  The netlogon and sysvol shares are not created, and the policies and scripts folders under sysvol are missing.  Do those get created once it replicates with authoritative servers?

If I have to do another restore of just the system state and I want it to be non-authoritative, I would not select "Mark this server as the primary arbitrator for replication when restoring folders managed by the File Replication Service, or when restoring SYSVOL in System State", Correct?

This is expected behavior.  Have a look @ this KB (applies to IDR as well) - https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH198840

IDR does restore the system state and it is a non-authoritative restore.

BE 12.5 is quite old.  Make sure that the AD that you are trying to restore is supported.  See the SCL below

Thanks so much.  The information was very helpful.  I reconnected the DC, and the netlogon and sysvol shares were recreated, along with the policies and scripts folder.  The logs look good.  The only thing that didn't come back were the terminal services licenses.  I have a grace period on that, so I have some time to figure it out.
