BE 12.5 Rev 2213 SQL Server backup

We have Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 Rev. 2213 installed on Windows Server 2003 R2 with SQL jobs defined.
One of those jobs is performing full SQL backup (Backup entire database or filegroup), the other one backs up transaction log.
Database log file is growing and needs to be shrinked. Is there a way to shrink it through BE configuration or must I start Pre/Post command to accomplish this? If so, which command(s) and at which point in time?
Please advise.

Regards,
Drazen

Please see the following for an explanation of log truncation and the command that will shrink the physical logs: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH33654
