Hello all,
I have a BackupExec 12.5 (rev 2213) install on a customer's site, and we have a System State job that, after starting, never leaves the Queued state, even after several hundred hours. The job never appears to move any data - it just sits there.
Here's the output of the properties of the job - server named and users have been changed for privacy:

I'd certainly appreciate it if anyone has any advice for this job to tell me why it just sits at Queued forever. Thanks, and let me know if any additional info is needed.

Hi,
Has this server been rebooted recently? If not, reboot it and then try the job again. Also make sure the media server and the remote servers are fully patched.
Backup Exec is a very old version. I strongly recommend upgrading to Backup Exec as soon as possible. Here is a link to the Backup Exec HCL's and SCL's to make sure when you upgrade your environment is compatible http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH205797

Any errors or warnings in the event viewer ?
Does a native Windows backup of the system state complete successfully ?
