BE 12.5 running on a Domino Server.

I have an issue where I have to run the BE 12.5 on the same server as my Domino.  I am NOT backing up Domino databases, and yet every backup fails with an error 0xe00094a0 saying that The Lotus Domino Server timed out during an operation.  I don't understand why it is even trying to talk to the Domino server if I am not trying to backup any of the Domino databases.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you dont want to backup exec to communicate with lotus domino database , this is what you can try

- Go to  C:\program files\symantec\backup exec ,  asssuming that BE 12.5 is installed on C drive . Search for the file bedsnote.dll & rename it to bedsnote.old. Restart the BEWS services & perform your backups according to the schedule.

Have you upgraded to the latest SP4 for BE 12.5?  There is a problem with bedsnote which is fixed in SP2 (I think).
