BE 12 Connection loss in System State backup causes job failure

I often get the following error on one or more of my server backup jobs. Most often related to System State section of backup. Seldom ever discover any shut-down of Remote Agent related to this. No specfic events appear in Application or System logs.

Backup- \\ACADIAN-SQL2\System?State \\ACADIAN-SQL2\System?State
V-79-57344-65072 - The connection to target system has been lost. Backup set canceled.

Any thoughts ?

Hello,

Make sure that the version of the remote agent on the Media Server and the remote server are same.
Check the version of beremote.exe on both the servers.

Push install the remote agent if the versions are not matching. Every time we perform a live update on the Media Server, we need to update the remote agents by pushing out. Its not an automated process.
