Hi All,
Today morning we have run into problem with connecting over administration console to server. Server console works fine but on my laptop I cannot connect. Message says:
Unable to connect to the requested server. The administration console is an older version and it is incompatible with the server.
Additional notes:
Client: 14.2.1180
Server: 14.2.1180(0)
Anyone has encoutered the similar problem? Running LUA shows that my Symantec software is updated. In attachment you can see a printscreen of the message.

Have you installed FP1 on the server and not on the Remote Admin Console?

Hi Colin,
Thanks - it has been that. I have checked auto updates for server but it is not done automatically for console. Now it works - I have applied FP1 :)

Apologies for a silly question but how do we login to the remote administration console to update it when we cannot connect to the server due to the above error? Is there some other way we should be updating it?

You dont need to. Just download a FP and install this on PC. Once it is done you will get access to console back.
