According to supprot's advice, I upgrade BE2010 R2 to R3 and then run BE15 setup. The setup program keeps waiting for SQL Service Group Accounts Security Identifier(SID) Check and cannot continue? What can we do?

...try stopping all the BE services manually and then run the upgrade again.
Thanks!

HI VJware,
The KB said the problem is resolved when upgrading or installing using the Backup Exec 2014 Service Pack 1 (SP1) media.
But I am now encountering problem when upgrading from BE2010 SP3 to BE15. And I cannot see the error now. Can you advise the log path? Or would you please advise which solution I should follow.A/B/C ?
Do you suggest to uninstall SQL and BE completely and install again? Thanks

Hi VJware,
do you think to uninstall and reinstall completely will help to fix the problem? if I have backup the catalog and data folder, there should be no problem to read the old data in tape which was backup by BE2010 SP2,right?

and I checked my Summary.txt, I don't see the error. It is not updated since 2012. Thanks

The KB article regarding SQL SID permissions will apply to your case as well.
Would you post the SQL install and the Backup Exec install log over here ? Thanks.
