BE 2010 R2 NETWARE AGENT - NDMPD.NLM errors

 Installed Agent manually on Netware 6.5 SP8 server per: (README states remote push no longer supported).

Backup EXEC 2010 R2 - Fresh install

When Running BESTART manually  I see - "error 1006 unable to load required module ndmpd.nlm" in the Surestart console

When BESTART is run at reboot by autoexec.ncf I see - "Error 1004 timeout waiting for NDMPD.nlm to initialize." in surestart Console

NOTE: -!X is present in the BESTART file

Edited startup.ncf :

removed LOAD NWTAPE.CDM a

added SET Auto Load of CDM Modules = OFF

no commands with NWTAPE.CDM present in autoexec.ncf

Also verified that NWPA.NLM was loaded (this was referenced in an older post I found but seems to be regarding older versions of BE).

After working with escalated support, loaded the NDMPD.NLM manually from the console and then ran BESTART.

After that we could see the Netware servers on the media server.

As a perma fix added:

LOAD SYS:/bkupexec/nlms/ndmpd.nlm

to autoexec.ncf  before bestart is loaded.
