BE 2010 R3 - Catalog Search Worthless?

Just wanted to get other opinions regarding the Catalog Search feature.  Thus far, this feature has proven worthless in my environment.  I am unable to get ANY search results regardless of how broad or narrow the search criteria are.  My BE 2010 R3 environment has nearly 12 TBs of data to look through so I expected to see some results.  Alas, I have none.

What about you?  Are you able to search through your catalog files?

Hi there,

Not me personally...I couldn't be bothered to search through catalogs, as I would simply restore by date etc.

That said, what level of logging do you have, as this would dictate how much information is available to you in order to search...
