BE 2010 R3, VMWare, GRT, SQL, individual DB's not listed for restore.

Hi all,

Do anyone have any idea why the databases are not listed under the Microsoft SQL Server instance for restore ?

The backups are successfull without any exceptions or errors, the SQL server is a VM and we are using GRT.

But the databases are not there when we check through a Restore Selection list.

The if we expand the Microsoft SQL Server "entry" it's says 0KB in size and the list is empty.

We are viewing the machine from the windows machine and not through the VMWare "path".

I'll appreciate any tips.

Did you install the RAWS in the in VM?  Also, do you have installed the SQL Agent licence in the media server?

Yes, the RAWS agent and SQL License is in place.

If we browse the server name rather than through the VMWare component of the selection list, we can see the server and the databases.

If we check the properties of the server it states that RAWS is installed and running.
