BE 2010 does not restore Hyper-V R2 Clustered VM's correctly

The VM data is restored (VHD and support files), but it does not register the VM with the Hyper-V / Cluster service.  End up having to recreate the VM structure (RAM, Network, etc.) and then add the VHD as existing drives.

It could be possible I am doing something wrong, but I have followed what I could find in the admin manual.  Worked with the older 12.5 against a non-clustered 2008 R1 Hyper-V.

BTW, anybody know how to delete old (hidden) nics inside the VM?  It creates a new one each time you have to go through this process.  My test machine is up to "Local Area Connection #8"!
