BE 2010 trial Exchange 2007

When trying to backup Exchange with BE 2010 Trial getting the following error:

Job ended: 15 February 2010 at 18:40:58
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000fe7c - Database was not found and could not be backed up. Please make sure database exists and is mounted.
Final error category: Resource Errors

The database's is mounted. I wont be able to send email if it wasn't. Also went into Exchange management console and the database just give the option to disconnect.
Not connect or reconnect.

Anyone have any clue why this is happening?

Hi,

This could be a problem with your VSS writers.
From a command prompt, type: vssadmin list writers, and check if you get any errors.
If you do, you will need to repair that.
