Hello Team,
I have found on backup exec 2012 backup of Sharepoint gets failed with error "0xe0001602 - Access is denied (SharePoint backup)."
If i perform Without GRT backup then it gets completed successfully.
But GRT enabled backup gets failed for sharepoint.
As per below symantec article this issue has resolved after installing Backup Exec 2012 Rev 1798 Service Pack 3.
Refer:- http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH210073
But even after service pack 3 installation also GRT enabled backup job for sharepoint is getting failed. Whats to do next????
Regards,
Santosh Pawar.

The above post written by 'Webecandidate' is from me and would be removed shortly.
Santosh, the article that PKH provided is for Backup Exec 2010. Based on your comment, you are working with Backup Exec 2012 and after refering to http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH210073 you already have Service Pack 3 installed. I'd request you to contact Symantec Support so that we could collect the necessary debug files and analyze the issue further.

I am having the same exact issue. My full backup succeeds, but the incrementals fail with this error. I will contact Support tomorrow. I have disabled GRT in the meantime.
