BE 2012 backs up Enterprise vault v9 very slow rate

We have Enterprise vault v9 in a cluster environment on server 2003 enterprise edition

since using backup exec 2012 we are unable to backup the open partition due to

it running to slow the best rate we have got is 60mb/min

if we revert back to BE 12.5 we get around 300 / 500 mb/min

we are now using collection files on a new partition but still the rate in 2012 is very poor.

Can you share the nature of the EV setup, that is how many vault store groups, vault stores, partitions and where are they located? What is the size, type of files and the location of the partition that is giving the problem?
