Try this KB-

This article is in regards to using a NAS. I've had no issues creating B2D on a NAS. However, we are moving to a Netapp storage device and I have never configured B2D on a Netapp before. I'm assuming this is possible since it's only going to be creating B2D on a cif share on the Netapp. I'm not having any luck finding documentation or what is needed to configure this.

Its pretty much similar to creating a B2D on a NAS and hence the KB for checking permissions. Run this tool to check if the NetApp share comes back as compatible or not - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH69107

To be honest easiest method would be to create an iSCSI LUN on the NetApp and attach this LUN into Windows. Then the volume will be seen with a local drive letter and configuring the B2D is relatively easy.
