BE 2014 logon account not editable

Dear All,

 

I check my backup job was failed because account issue, when i lookup to BE 2014 logon account it is not editable. They all are greyed out except for the server. This is normal? how can i edit my logon account for different database?

In BE 2014, you would not be able to set different credentials for the SQL instance. This is by design and which is why you cannot change it.

You should not be backing up your SQL Server databases together with your files because for SQL databases, you need to turn off AOF.  You need two jobs.  One for file backup with AOF on and the other one for SQL databases with AOF off.

Thanks VJware, SA authentication no longer support then i need contact my dba to grant BE user as System Administrator for each instance.
