Hello, I have 5 EC2 servers in AWS, I installed the administrator software just fine and I can backup that server to S3 just fine. However I cannot push agents to the other servers, thats no big deal becuase I can apparently install the agents manually on the other servers. The problem is I cant do that either, it fails.
And here is the log; the suggested fix to the problem according to veritas is that Mcafee needs to be switched off.. Well I dont have Mcaffee or any anti virus software installed yet so that cant be the issue at all. Any ideas please?

How did you copy the Backup Exec agent install to the EC2 instance
Did you take ONLY the RAWSx64 folder from the Agents folder on the BE server OR did you also copy the DotNetFX and VCRedist folders
as the error is saying cannot open from VCRedist on your desktop it's possible that this is because you have not copied it to the server

are you running the local installs as administrator? (i.e. right dlick the installer and select Run as Admin)

Hi, yes I am running as local administrator, im logged on as the admin and tried right clicking / run as. Ive also created a new account, logged in as that and run as administrator.
I have also installed VC11 Redistrubutable manually so surely when I run the agent installationa again it should detect that it already installed.

Perfect thanks, that was it, I only copied the RAWS file.. I should have properly read the log prior to the red writing
Thank you very much for your help.
