I'm using Backup Exec R3 to backup most of my systems and is working great for file shares or backing up specific files on servers. The issue that I'm running into is when I try to backup a VM going through my vSphere server. The backup starts fine and it looks as though it gets most of the way through the process, however when I check on it later it's failed and the Backup Exec Remote Agent Service has stopped. The remote agent stopping only seems to affect VM backups as everything else seems to be running successfully.
On the job itself I get a final error: 0x0000f04 and I can't find anything in the system logs to indicate why the service stopped. I've updated backup exec to the latest RC and hotfixes. Has anyone had any problems with this issue?
