BE is giving windows several Event code ID's of 33152 and the event data is 1 of the 3 below each time.
[11048] 09/17/15 22:42:02 Adamm Mover Error: DeviceIo: 03:00:00:00 - Refresh handle on "\\.\Tape0", SCSI cmd 00, new handle 69c, error 0
[11048] 09/17/15 22:56:33 Adamm Mover Error: DeviceIo: 00:00:00:00 - Retry Logic: Original settings restored on device: IBM ULT3580-HH5
[11048] 09/17/15 23:10:16 Adamm Mover Error: DeviceIo: 03:00:00:00 - Device error 1117 on "\\.\Tape0", SCSI cmd 0a, 4 total errors
I also receive several "Drive Warn or Crti Tape Alert" emails from our tape drive last night.
Attention : Drive Warn or Crit Tape Alert flag
Event Code: 0x84 - tape alert
Element number: 0x0C, 12
Drive number: 0x02, 2
Tape Alert Flag: 0x27, 39
This message was generated automatically from IBM 3573-TL
In each email I got with the above all look the same, just with the numbers at the end of each line change. I'm not exactly sure what these numbers mean.
At this point, nothing appears to be affecting our backups as they are still running and I've looked at the current job logs and no error's show up, yet BE sent me the below email over the backup.
(Server: "SVWPBE") (Job: "Weekly 2-Welch IBM 1225-Daily Incremental") Job 'Weekly 2-Welch IBM 1225-Daily Incremental' has reported Multiple Tape Alerts on Server 'SVWPBE'. Please refer to job log BEX_SVWPBE_04037.xml for more details.
Any help in understanding what this all means is greatly appreciated.

Never mind on this post. We just received our backup reports and we are definately expereincing a hardware failure and are taking the needed steps to get this fixed.
