BE12D - "Connection with server failed"

I'm unable to see any selections with a brand new installation of Backup Exec 12D on Windows 2008 server.  When I go to create a new selections list, I get the error message "Connection with server failed"  I've verified that the BE services are running under a domain admin account that's a member of Domain Admins and Administrators only.  The server is Windows 2008 Standard 32-bit running as a domain controller.

To date I've done the following:

Uninstalled and reinstalled BE 12d

Attempted using Administrator, secondary domain admin account, new domain account created specifically for BE.  Logged on as each user, modified services to use the new account, restarted services.

Disabled anti-virus program, uninstalled and reinstalled BE, modified services logon accounts, restarted services, re-enabled anti-virus.

Any advice?

I was able to resolve this issue by following the following support doc:  http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/254239.htm

One additional group policy that I had to set was "Logon as a batch script" for the backup service account.

Hope this helps anyone else.
