Hello,

Does anyone has exprience this issue below before?

Customer has recently just migrated to BE15 from older version BE2010/2014. Previously from older versions BE2010/2014, customer is able to login to the BE server using the backup operators credentials. However after migrating to BE15, customer not able to do so. Apparently customer discover that BE15 requires local admin / global admin rights assigned to this credential in order to login to the BE15 to perform the backup job. Customer mentioned that he is unable to assign this admin rights due to his internal company security policies.

Customer is now toying the idea to move back to older versions which does not have this issue.

Anyone encountered this issue before? Any workround / solutions to sharE?

I don't know how he managed to get away with using backup operators credentials, possibly backing up simple files, etc.  To backup critical system data, like AD, you need to have domain admin privileges and this requirement has not change since forever.  See this document

To caution your customer if he chooses to downgrade, the end-of-support-life for BE 2010 is Feb 2017
