BE2010/Server 2008 R2 backing up Exchange 2007 on Server 2003?

Hi,

Our BE server is also our Virtual Center server for our ESX environment.  The latest update for that product requires 64-bit so we see it as a timely upgrade to Server 2008 R2.

Our Exchange (2007) server runs on Server 2003 x64.

Will this scenario work - ie will GRT still work correctly for Exchange 2007 with different operating system versions between the Exchange server and BE server?

Yes it should work.  Win2k8 R2 media server running BE2010, with a Win2k3 x64 client that has Exch2k7 on it.
