BE2014 fail to install in Server 2008 R2

Installation Fail in SQL Express 2008 (Win 2008 R2 x64 + BE2014)

I try to install Backup Exec 2014 in a physical machine with Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) but the installation process keep fail and stop before SQL 2008 Express finish installation. The machine joined to our office domain and log on as domain administrator for the whole installation process.

SystemConfigurationCheckReport below show no error.

I searched google and some post said my windows account are lack of privilege SeBackupPrivilege, SeDebugPrivilege and SeSecurityPrivilege and advise to modify it throught domain security policy and local security policy. I tried but this solution not work. The result from the command "whoami /priv" still showing my account lack of these privilege after gpupdate and computer restart.

I think Win2008 R2 + BE2014 should be an old product combination. Just wondering you guys has any similar experience before and any idea to this issue?

Could you post the error message from BKUPINST.htm file located at the below location.

Are you able to manually install a SQL instance first ? (Run sqlexpr.exe from the BE installation files)

If a manual install of the SQL instance fails, then pls attach the BE and SQL install logs over here ? Thanks.

Have you tried running the SQL instance installation separately ?

Tried install SQL Express separately from BE2014 media and new copy downloaded from MS website. Both failed.

Probably might be a good time to get in touch with MS to resolve the SQL install issue first.

Is BE2014 must combine with SQL Express 2008? Any other option?

BE needs a SQL instance for its database. BE 2014 can use any one of the following versions (as per the SCL) -
