BEX 2012 - Backup Selections disappeared for 1 server

Hello,

I can no longer see the Backup Selections for my Windows Server 2012 R2 file server.

From "Installation and Licensing" -> "Install Agents" I can see that the Agent for Windows is reporting back that it is detected and that no updates/upgraded are required.

However, when I go and click "Edit Backups" on the server, it attempts to load the selection information but eventually stops and indicates on the right panel that "None." is selected.  In Selection Details, the server FQDN is correctly displaying and is using the System Logon Account just like the other servers.  The inclusions show as "Include - *.* [Subdir]"

This was working just fine for the last month and half, this issue began a few days ago.

The media server is running BEX version 14, revision 1798.1300 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1.

Appreciate any help you can provide!

Thanks,

Oscar

AmolZeroCool, thanks for your reply.  I found that the Agent service wasn't running, I restarted it and it appears to be working again.

As of now Backup Exec does not support Win 2012 R2 server.

Refer to BE2012 scl http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH175581

Next version of BE will provide support for Win 2012 R2.

For more information about the next release refer to the below blog
