BUE 2014 fails to run differential backups on VM guests (HV 2012R2)

When running a differential backup on our windows 2012 R2 hyper-V server, the guests fail and revert to a full back up only.

"A Full backup was run on this virtual machine, since the option to fall back to a full backup was selected.
Incremental\\Differential backup methods are not supported for this virtual machine."

The BUE 2014 is running on Windows 2012 R2

The HV server is Windows 2012 R2

The guest OS is Windows 2003 with the BUE Agent installed.

In addition, the other guests (Windows 2012 R2) fail to run a GRT backup - they also have the BUE Agent installed.

V-79-40960-38531 - During Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) operations, the necessary boot configuration files could not be loaded.
Backups that were enabled for GRT may not be available for restore.

Any ideas on this?

I've check this  https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000021609

None of the suggestion have worked with regards to the GRT issue.

Hi, i would check this first (BE2014): http://www.veritas.com/docs/000092109

And: consider upgrading to BE15, because it learned some new tricks and with the upcoming FP5 (end of this month) you'll get Instant Recovery, too.
