Back Up Exec scheduled Error - Could not log on to the Server...

Hi,

I've got that few times (Today 2 times), is there any article on this & whats the reason & how to fix this?

This is usually due to lack of permissions.

The BE account should have the permissions as per - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH23689

A system logon account should exist in Backup Exec with the format domain\administrator and should have above mentioned permissions.

If the password was changed recently, edit the BE account and reenter the password. Also, edit the backup job and ensure the right account is being used.

Lastly, do ensure BE and the remote agent is completely updated as well.
