Back up Scheduled but doesn't run

 Have created a backup to run nightly however it fails to run.  Select the option to run now, and the job is currently scheduled instead of running!!
It is the same for when I try and run any kind of job!
Does anyone have any thought?

 The server is paused, check on the media tab, also make sure all the devices are not paused. Check all the backup exec services are running.

go to the Devices tab...right click on the server name and click on Paused....wait for 4 to 5 seconds...right click  again and unpause it...
