Backing Up NDMP option

Hi,

I am trying to Backup a Netapp using NDMPO option

in the selections - when i choose the whole Volume.. it starting teh Backup Process.. and i assuem it will success..

but when i choose only the  .snapshot folder (causwe this only what is need) - it failed all the time wioth teh error:

Can any one advice how can i fixed that..

Select any particular snapshot from snapshot volume instead of selecting complete folder.

Also check for any stalled backup sessions on NAS box.. If any kill them and start the backup again.

This is an NDMP limitation you can only select on existing snapshot

I do not understand why you have such a requirement of backingup the complete snapshot folder which contains all the snapshots created against a particular volume.

Backingup a single snapshot backsup all the data present in the volume at the time of snapshot creation against the volume. Do not see the size of snapshot in snapshot folder, backup size will be much bigger than that.
