I need to backup DB2 running on Windows. There's no agent as far as I can tell, can I use Open file option to backup the databases and be sure I can restore them?
You can backup the database by performing a flat file backup. Stop all the DB services and then select the DB2 directory for backup. As DB2 is not explicitly tested with BEWS v10.0, online backup using AOFO is not guaranteed.
