Backing up MS SQL server databases with In-Memory OLTP (In-Memory Optimization)

Hi,

Please can you tell me if there is currrently any way - or any way planned for a future release - to backup a MS SQL server database that uses In-Memory OLTP (In-Memory Optimization).

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/in-memory-oltp/in-memory-oltp-in-memory-op...

At the moment any database with this enabled is greyed out in the BE backup interface.

Thanks

In-memory SQL databases are unsupported and blocked in the BE SQL agent when detected.  There are currently no backup methods or workarounds with Backup Exec.  It's unknown whether this will be something for future support.

Hi,

is this still the case where this is not supported?

Reghards,
Chris.
