We run a nightly backup and this has worked fine for months without any problems.
Last night it failed and gave a warning "0xe000fe36 - Corrupt data encountered"
We have run a "mini-backup" which worked ok however when we try to test run the nightly backup it fails saying "Capacity check status : Failed" - although the tape in the drive has more than enough space to do the job.
We have restarted the backup device - no joy.
We have re-created the backup job - no joy.
We have tried a different tape - no joy.
At this point we are at a loss as what to try next.
Can anyone suggest a fix?
