Backup 11d 7170 patches

This may be a stupid question but since I can't see any restore info for my information store or GRT restore info for my mailboxes (Exchange 2003) I thought I would check for patches after HF14...I see a HF18, 19 and 21. Did I miss some patches somewhere? Info-store is backing up successfully at least,  just can't see any catalogue data in the restore window. hate to go back to legacy mode.

Its not a stupid question.

I'm thinking its a stupid situation.

I am seeing the exact same thing with 2 separate installations.

Backup to tape using 11d, all the latest patches all the way upto currently HF27.

Backup using GRT to tape.  All options set correctly to allow for GRT but the restore tab shows nothing, no mailboxes for individual restore.

Why after HF14 is this still not working?

The suggestion to backup to disk first is not an appropriate solution.

Does anyone has answers?

Have you unticked the filter in the restore view...?

This caught me out.
