Backup 11d and 2010R2 encryption

We have 2 sites that currently use 11d and encrypt the backup and use each other as DR.  One is going to be upgraded to 2010 R2.  Does anyone know if the encrypted backup's / restore's will still work ?  I suspect it will as long as the encyption is set the same for both but ideally need it confirmed.

As far as you have the pass phrase(key) it will work.

Yup, I don't believe there have been any changes to the encryption between 11d and 2010R2. Both offer the same encryption options and methods.
