Backup 2 disk telling me device is out of free space with 900GB free

Am backing up to a USB drive set up for b2d. NTFS, 512, 1TB. Backup Exec backs up 28.5 GB then throws the "The Backup-to-disk device is out of free space" error Have run a Chkdsk on the drive, all appears wellHave reserverd 900GB in the B2D properties. using 2GB file size, after thinking that the original 10 GB size may have been the issue. Server is an HP ML350T04P, running SBS03 (BE is the SBS suite)
 
BE is 11d, build 6235, sp2 with hf 27-33

Have reserverd 900GB in the B2D properties
 
Reserved space is not space reserved for BackupExec, but space reserved for non-BackupExec files
 
if you want BackupExec to be able to use 900 GB of a 1 TB volume, with 100GB for other files, use a reserve of 100GB
