Backup Error caused by MS Shadow Copy Service?

I have a customer running the new 11d version of BE and we are getting the following error after each nights backup. It appears that the problem stems from BE trying to backup and then verify a state file dealing with the MS Shadow Copy Service. Can someone give me a resolution to this error and a way to stop it?

May be File system uses asynchronous I/O option turned off and giving error

To enable this Run BEUtility.

Right click the Media Server and choose the option Edit Configuration.

Select the check box for "File system uses asynchronous I/O"
