    What is the use of Backup Exce Remote Agent Utility in v12.5 ?

The Remote Agent allows communication between a media server and a remote server.

It is this communication channel that allows the media server to backup data on the remote server running the RAWS agent. Without it, you're pretty much unable to backup a server, especially applications like Exchange and SQL.
