Backup Exec 11.d 7170 Exchange Duplication Errors

I have a customer that is backing up there Exchange 2003 Stores to disk and then duplicating to tape.

the duplication to tape is failing everytime at approxiametly 1Gb.

the error is as follows:

Application Error

Event ID 1004

Faulting application beremote.exe, version 11.0.7170.11, faulting module EDBProv.dll, version 11.0.7170.22, fault address 0x00015e21.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

I was getting these errors too until I upgraded to hotfix22 on the media server and redeployed the BE Remote Agent to the Exchange server afterwards.  Has been runnign good for a week now.

The Customer is allready running the following hotfixes:

It was following the application of 22 that these errors started.

The problem is that without HF22 the backups fails, with HF22 the duplication fails.

Are you sure they redeployed the backup agent? 

I had hotfix 22 on an E2K3 server, still got the B2T error with the same DLL you are showing as erroring out.  I pushed the agent to the Exchange server again and the last 5 nights it's run without a single problem.
