Backup Exec 11d

Hi Team,

        We have above 2TB Data's in server. We are running Full backup for every month. But we need daily backup for the server.

We have Backup Method on Symantec Backup Exce 11d:

1.Differential - Backup changed files since last full

    *) Using archive bit(does not reset archive bit)

    *) Using Modified time

2.Incremental - Backup changed files since last full or Incremental

     *) Using archive bit(reset archive bit)

     *) Using Modified time

3.Working set - Backup Files

     *) Changed today

     *) Last accessed in (X) days.

My requirement is,

1) Tape less need to use (within 3 Tapes for 1 month)

2) All Data's are important

Which Backup method i will choose for this.

Any one suggest to me.....

It is very difficult for someone to tell you which backup scheme you should use.  There are a lot of considerations involved in this decision.  Only you who knows your environment best can decide.  See my article on this subject.
