I have an ESX 3.5 VMWare server with inactive (shutdown VM's) vmdk files with the Backup Exec 12.5 RALUS agent. The RALUS agent is installed with the ESX server visible to the Backup Exec server.
The firewall config has these ports open:

On Backup Exec 12.5, I have set the dynamic port range to 10000 - 10000. When the job runs, it almost immediately fails with this:
V-79-57344-65072 - The connection to target system has been lost. Backup set canceled.
If I do an 'esxcfg-firewall stop' before the backup job, it completes successfully. So, it is clearly the ESX firewall that is preventing the job from completing. Any suggestions?
