Backup Exec 12 and Small Business Server 2008

We have a client who is running backup exec 12 on a windows 2003 standard box backing up two windows 2003 boxes, itself, and was backing up a Windows 2003 standard box with Exchange.

We just migrated them to a Hyper-V box with 2008 SBS as a virtual to upgrade from the Windows 2003 Standard with Exchange box.  I need confirmation that I can use a remote agent for the 2008 SBS box or do I have to upgrade them to Backup Exec 2010.

Hello

 Win SBS 2008  is not compatible with BE12. So along with the remote agent you will have to upgrade Media server to BE2010.

Other than I get to figure out how I am going to tell the client that they have to spend $ to upgrade their backup software.  Nope :)
