Backup Exec 12 - remote tape library

Hi,
May Backup Exec Server 12 use a tape library HP Ultrium (as a storaging library) installed into a PC in the same Subnet of the BE Server?

BE needs direct access to the tape library.  It cannot be attached to another machine and controlled remotely.

Hello,

The 1st pre-requisite for the Library to work is it must be connected to the computer on which backup exec is installed.

Backup Exec dosen't support library connected to a remote machine.
