Backup Exec 14.1 Problem with Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6

Hello

After upgrading Symantec Endpoint Client from 12.1.4 to 12.1.6 Backup Exec 14.1 couldn't backup files from that PC.

I Check this on several PC with windows 10 and 7. By Downgrading to 12.1.4 Problem Disappears. I need this Upgrading becuse I Have some clients with windows 10 and only SEP 12.1.6 Works on Windows 10.

Has SEP exclusions been added for the BE processes ?

Secondly, Win 10 is supported only if atleast FP1 is installed for BE 15. So, do ensure BE and Remote Agents are updated as well.

In your case, you are running BE 2014 which does not support Win 10.

Today I Updated to BE 15 Ver 14.2 FP2 and problem still exist on windows 10 & 7 with symantec endpoint protection 12.1.6 clients

Is port 10000 open on any firewall that's running?

Have SEP exlusions been added ?

If yes, then pls log a formal support case with the SEP Support team to investigate this issue further. Thanks.
