I am currently using Backup Exec 15 FP4 and OST for the backup. Now I want to connect the OST to a backup server (BE15 FP4) in DR site. The inventory job is successfuly, but the catalog job failed with the below error.

Error:e0000900 - The requested media is not listed in the media index and could not be mounted. To add the media's catalog information to the disk-based catalogs, run an inventory operation on the media and resubmit the Catalog operation.
For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-2304

http://www.veritas.com/docs/000031552 This should apply to BE 15 as well.the error means we did not have a record of that media which was needed for catalog for that set. You should also check if any media mounted for catalog was corrupt.

Seem Backup Exec has this bug since the version 2014. I am wondering why Veritas is not going to fix it?

I checked internally and this Issue was fixed in  BE 2014 SP2. In your case as we discussed in private message, the issue you are seeing is not a bug.
