We have a daily backup job that is set to backup the System State, C: (system) and S: (file storage) drives. No SQL databases are backed up and SDR has been enabled for this backup job. The job completes nightly without error.
In the job configuration, BE states that SQL databases have been detected but are not selected for backup. The only such database we are aware of is the one used by Backup Exec. Does this database actually need to be selected for backup, to completely backup this server, for use by SDR?
The system is a single file server Windows Server 2012 with BE15 backing up to a tape loader.
