Backup Exec 15 Incremental Backups from Shared Folder

dimettin
Not applicable

Hi,

We using Backup Exec 15 on Windows server 2012 R2 to backup Shared folders on Lenovo® ix4-300d NAS.

The incremental backup is backing all data, same as full.

If this possible to perform incremental backups in this scenario, without using remote agent?

Thanks,

Dima

Without a Remote Agent on the NAS, incremental / differentials wouldn't work. However, if you can present the data (probably via iSCSI) so that it appears as local to a server, then you can configure incremental / differential backups using the remote installed on that server.
